Our Founders
Frank Haze Burch and Daniel Cracchiolo became partners in 1958 in a firm
with ties back to the time of Arizona statehood. After working together
for 12 years, they founded their own firm on January 1, 1970. Located
in North-Central Phoenix, Burch & Cracchiolo, is extraordinary in
both its scope and its expertise.
A Phoenix native, Frank Haze Burch, distinguished himself
in the field of law during his many years of practice. He attended the University
of Arizona, received his law degree Phi Alpha Delta, joined the State Bar of
Arizona and served as a Deputy County Attorney of Maricopa County. Mr. Burch
has argued cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is the recipient of numerous
awards including the Salvation Army's Sally Award, a Special Commendation award
from the 100 Club and the Learned Hand Human Relations Award, conferred by the
Phoenix Union High School and College District. In recent years, Mr. Burch has
retired from the practice of law and acted "of counsel" to the firm. Frank Haze
Burch passed away on September 25, 2005.
Born in Detroit, Michigan,
Daniel Cracchiolo also has a long and illustrious history in the legal
profession. His family moved to Tucson, Arizona when he was a young man.
He attended the University of Arizona, graduating Phi Alpha Delta with
a law degree in 1952. That same year he joined the State Bar of Arizona,
and later spent three years as a Deputy County Attorney of Maricopa County.
Continuing his professional activity in numerous practice areas, Mr. Cracchiolo
is extensively affiliated. He is a member in the prestigious International
Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American Judicature Society and the International
Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Cracchiolo appears under two categories
in Best Lawyers in America.
