B&C Attorney Sarah O’Keefe Named One of Top Young Business Leaders in Arizona

B&C attorney Sarah N. O'Keefe was recently named one of the top millennials in the state by Arizona Business Magazine.  The January 2018 issue highlights "30 Somethings" who have become young business leaders and innovators who are driving Arizona's economy.  The group of 30 up-and-comers are described as having an impact on Arizona's landcape while reimagining workplace culture and social responsibility.   

Sarah is described  as " a proven and savvy civil trial attorney with an ever-growing passion for her clients that drives her to adapt and thrive in this new, modern world of litigation." 

Sarah joined Burch & Cracchiolo in 2013 and practices in a variety of different practice areas including administrative law, appellate, business litigation, complex commercial litigation, employment law, insurance defense litigation and personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Sarah has prevailed in 5 out of 5 trials in her career. Sarah practices in all aspects of employment law and litigation where she advises clients regarding issues of workplace discrimination, employer policies, employee discipline and termination, and compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws. Sarah counsels employers in the areas of severance plans, agreements and pre-litigation disciplinary matters. She conducts internal investigations for clients and assists in identifying and resolving potential areas of liability and exposure. She represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Arizona Civil Rights Division in complex litigation matters in state and federal court. Sarah has experience with National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) policies and the intricacies of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA).
