(April 8, 2013…Phoenix, AZ) Burch & Cracchiolo, P.A. will participate in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day by inviting children of employees, ages 8-18, to spend the day with their parent and learn about a career in law on Thursday, April 25th. The day will include structured activities and presentations on various areas of the law by attorneys and staff, as well as a trip to the courtroom of Judge Bill Brotherton of the Arizona Superior Court. In addition, the students will learn how technology is impacting and changing the practice of law.
“This program is a wonderful way to introduce kids to a career in law,” comments Firm president, Ed Bull. “We have many employees who have been with the Firm for 20 years or more and we have watched their kids grow up so it is a pleasure to invite them to spend the day with us.”
Marking the 20th anniversary, the program began on a national basis in 1993. The theme for 2013 is “Work in Progress” as participation continues to foster curiosity and incentivize higher education to attain career and life goals. In addition, the kids will have an opportunity to ask questions on a one-to-one basis and experience first-hand a day in the life of a lawyer, paralegal or legal assistant.
