(April 2, 2026…Phoenix, AZ) Burch & Cracchiolo is pleased to honor Mandy Graham, a 1st grade teacher at Redfield Elementary School, as the March Star Teacher. Mandy has been teaching for 20 years and was nominated by fellow teacher Ashley Briganti who writes:
I would like to nominate Mrs. Graham for this teaching award. Mrs. Graham is an exceptionally dedicated and inspiring educator who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. She invests countless hours creating a classroom environment that is not only visually stunning but also welcoming, engaging, and full of energy. Her classroom is truly Pinterest-worthy—colorful, fun, and magical—where every corner reflects creativity, thoughtfulness, and a love for learning.
Mrs. Graham celebrates the individuality of each student, tailoring her teaching to meet differing needs and ensuring that every child feels supported and valued. She seamlessly integrates creativity into her lessons, making learning exciting and meaningful, and she encourages students to explore, ask questions, and think critically. Beyond academics, Mrs. Graham fosters a sense of community, kindness, and respect in her classroom, helping students develop both socially and emotionally.
Her dedication extends beyond the classroom walls as she actively contributes to our school community, collaborating with colleagues, mentoring new teachers, and always offering a helping hand where it is needed. Mrs. Graham’s passion for teaching, commitment to her students, and ability to make learning both joyful and impactful make her an outstanding candidate for this award. She truly embodies what it means to be an exceptional educator.
Eddie made the first presentation at Redfield’s monthly “Rock Star Assembly” where students and teachers are honored for being especially outstanding during the month. Their school mascot Rocky was on hand to rev up the crowd and be available for photos. It was fun and very inspiring to see how Mrs. Graham and her fellow teachers are recognizing these outstanding kids and educators. Redfield is in the Scottsdale Unified School District and has 711 students pre-K through 5th grade. They have a Great Schools rating of 9 out of 10.
A Valley teacher is chosen each month to receive $500 through a nominating process on the firm’s website www.bcattorneys.com. Nominations are accepted from students, former students and parents who wish to honor and thank a teacher who has had a profound impact on their life. Many teachers spend their own money to augment the costs of classroom supplies, field trips and other non-covered costs that arise throughout the school year. B&C hopes to alleviate that burden for one deserving teacher each month. In addition, the school where the educator teaches receives a check for $250 to be used at their discretion.
Nominations are open to all teachers in K-12 who teach in Maricopa County. Winners will be notified and then presented a check at their school by a member of Burch & Cracchiolo. Photos and/or video will be taken to post on the firm website and social media. To nominate go to www.bcattorneys.com, click on the “Nominate a Star Teacher” button and tell us why you think your teacher deserves the B&C Star Teacher Award.
