Brian Kaven is the lead attorney among the firm's personal injury and tort defense attorneys and concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury defense, discrimination and wrongful termination defense, defense of governmental entities, professional malpractice and general litigation.  He has been selected as a Southwest Super Lawyer since 2007, as a Best Lawyer in America in 2015-2019, and is included among Arizona’s Finest Lawyers.  Brian is a member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute.  He is an AV® Preeminent 5.0 out of 5 peer review rated attorney in Martindale-Hubbell.

Since 1992 Brian has been certified as an Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona and has personally handled hundreds of litigated cases. He tries cases in state and federal court.

Prior to joining the firm, Brian was in private practice with a small Phoenix law firm and then received further trial experience working as a public defender.
